Excellent quality and impeccable customer service. I’ve already purchased two kettlebells, one 24 kg and another 32 kg, and now I’m going for the 36 kg one.

Floor hardness determines two properties that may seem contradictory: user joint protection and load stability. A floor that is too soft absorbs impact but can cause machines and racks to sink and shift. A floor that is too hard protects the subfloor but transfers more impact to the knees and spine.
The IRONSIDE Premium EPDM Technical Rubber Flooring is engineered at 60 SHORE A, providing the right balance between both properties: soft enough to provide comfort during squats and deadlifts, yet firm enough to keep machines and racks stable during training.
Manufactured from vulcanized SBR rubber with a 1.6 mm EPDM top layer and a 23.4 mm base made from compacted rubber particles. Total thickness: 1” (25 mm).
Each tile measures 19.7” × 19.7” (50 × 50 cm) and weighs approximately 11.6 lb (5.25 kg).
Available in 10.8 sq. ft., 269 sq. ft., 538 sq. ft., and 1,076 sq. ft. quantities.
Certified: CE, SGE, REACH and ISO.
The 1.6 mm EPDM top layer is the surface users see and interact with. It provides excellent wear resistance, is waterproof and easy to clean with water and a mild detergent.
EPDM does not readily absorb moisture or bacteria, making it well suited for high-traffic training environments where sweat and frequent cleaning are common. Unlike standard SBR rubber alone, EPDM is designed to maintain its colour and surface appearance over time, with improved resistance to UV exposure and perspiration.
The 23.4 mm vulcanized compacted SBR rubber base is the impact-absorbing layer. When a weight is dropped or a machine is subjected to dynamic loading, the base compresses and distributes the energy before it reaches the underlying floor.
With a density of 0.85 g/cm³, the base is designed to resist excessive compression under sustained loads, helping maintain the effective thickness and performance of the flooring over time.
Tiles connect using interlocking plastic connectors, requiring no adhesive or specialized tools. This makes the flooring easy to install, reconfigure or remove without damaging the original subfloor.
The connectors provide a stable connection that helps prevent tiles from separating during use. Edge pieces are available to create a clean, finished perimeter without exposed raised edges.
For quantity calculations, 4 tiles cover approximately 10.8 sq. ft. (1 m²).
We recommend adding 5–10% extra material to account for cuts around walls, corners and other obstacles.
The 10.8 sq. ft. option is ideal for expanding an existing installation tile by tile, while the larger 269, 538 and 1,076 sq. ft. options are suitable for everything from dedicated functional training areas to full commercial gym installations.
The IRONSIDE Premium EPDM Technical Rubber Flooring is suitable for:
With its 1” (25 mm) thickness, this flooring offers enhanced impact absorption compared with standard 15–20 mm entry-level gym flooring, making it particularly suitable for areas where heavy loads and frequent impact are expected.
It can be combined with an Olympic lifting platform for snatch and clean & jerk areas, crash pads for additional protection in drop zones, and rubber flooring rolls for hallways and high-traffic areas where a continuous surface with minimal seams is preferred.
For outdoor applications, the EPDM surface provides strong UV resistance, making it suitable for outdoor fitness installations.
